Brown and blue is the most common eye color of this breed. Some breeders may call the brown shades gold or hazel. Change of the color eye is due to a gene that dilutes the pigmentation of the dog’s coat and eyes. This loss of pigmentation also leads to a white or light-colored skin on the face. The color of their eyes is controlled by a rare gene.
